Hi, I have a question: how can a braille note be able to use aim or msn for chatting? Thanks for any answers!
Thanks,

Well, I knew that, but isn't there an online source for doing that? AIM failed to work; all kinds of errors popped up, but I dont know if perhaps there is an online messanging system? You know guys, I am homestly fed up with braille notes. Cmmon humanware, work faster, they're wayyyy behind. And Pac Mates seem really breakable, because Tristan (DJTristan) was telling me a truely awful story on skype a while ago, had to go through 2 whole new units, and 4 replacement displays. His wifi kept dropping signals, bluetooth gave him like 10 cm of range, the darn thing never even powers on now, jaws pocket keeps crashing, and I dont want to spend like a million dollars just for instant messanging people. If anyone knows of an online source it would be most helpful.
Thanks guys,
BlindGuy55

Complicated/unhelpful answer: BrailleNotes can use MSN via web messenger. Not sure how, though. I'll investigate for you, if you wish?

Hi, yes please, because I tried this:
http://e-messenger.net
and it took forever for my messages to send to whoever I talked with, and even longer for their responses, so I gave up. The trouble was that, it kinda refreshed and everything so it sorta, I guess knew there was a message, but it wouldn't display. After refreshing 30000 times, I ggot the messages. So that service e-messanger, sucks...
But it mighht work with msn online messenger, haven't a clue.

hi everyone, webmessenger.msn.com doesnt work with bn you need IE5.0 or later running MSWindows, and a popup unblocker--that is, to allow popup windows which bn doesnt allow! Grrrrrrr! Any more ideas? Thanks, guys!

try www.ebuddy.com

I do believe that instant messaging for the bn is not all that far away.

I know this is kind of off the topic here but can that online msn messenger thing svcrew up a computer. I downloaded and installed msn messenger a while back and what a mess that caused. But not on my bn though.

lol whatcha mean? the bn doesn't support webmessenger.msn.com because it uses dynamic html, meaning the page can change without refreshing. another messenger you can use with the bn is mim.live.com.

hth!
